Attack off Bintan Island - Indonesia

An incident off the waters of Bintan Island was reported where pirates tried to hijack a ship. Seven attacker tried to hijacked the ship but were spotted by the ship's piracy watch. Although no one was injured in the incident, pirates damaged the locks of doors of the accommodation. The incident highlights the fact that ships should be bear in mind the dangers in this area.
